    that would have to be…
the novella I was reading (Sugarplum Hearts by Gina Welborn) and how I needed to polish my Genesis entry today. It’s pretty much always a matter of thinking about my characters–I love living in their world.

I need to start being more consistent with making myself put everything but my characters/story out of my mind once I get in the bed. That may help me not only connect with them but figure out where the story is going!

Any particular reason that’s what you were thinking, or is that something you wish for a lot? 🙂

I went to sleep sitting in the den watching TV. What was a I thinking then? Why do I do this to myself? And promise to do better tonight. I had watched the last episode of Downton Abby on Xfinity. I think Matthew is beginning to feel something in his legs. Did you get that? How is that going to work out? Eager for next week.

I do that more often than I’d care to admit to. But then the problem is that when I get up and get ready for bed, I lie there wide awake because of my little “nap.”

The extraordinary physical and mental endurance of George Rogers Clark. I was reading James Thom’s From Sea To Shining Sea. But was that my last thought? I don’t know. I never remember my last thought. It probably had something to do with the writing I’m about to start this morning. Or it might have been, “Please don’t let the neighbor dog start barking again tonight.”

What was your last topic of thought?

From Sea to Shining Sea is one of my all time favorite books. I agree. the physical endurance of those frontiersman…any of them, native Americans, and more. Just the idea of wading through cold water for days and sleeping on the ground… I get chilled in my bed with three blankets. WIMP!

No, unfortunately, the Messenger (our bi-monthly mailed out newsletter, 16 pages this time for February and March) wasn’t delivered today. I don’t have high hopes for it being delivered tomorrow in time to get it to the post office for bulk mail before 5 p.m. And if it doesn’t get out Friday (or if it isn’t delivered Friday), there’s no way I can take off Monday, since one of the other two assistants in the office only works three days a week, and Monday isn’t one of those days.

Did you get up and write all this down before you fell asleep or remember it all in the morning? =)
It brings up an interesting thought, though. Mind reading wouldn’t necessarily be all it’s cracked up to be. It would be like sifting through radio stations, alternating between music (how many songs get stuck in our heads?) and talk radio…like this.

No, I wrote it down after I got home from work this afternoon—because this is pretty what it’s like inside my head 24/7.

And that’s also why I have to wear a “mouth guard” at night to keep me from breaking my teeth because I clench my jaw so hard. (My dentist finally realized that was why I kept having to get my new porcelain fillings replaced—clenching my teeth was pretty much reducing them to powder.)

This is a REALLY hard question! My mind is random I went from thoughts about the book I was reading, MaryLu Tyndall’s Surrender the Heart, to prayer, and after that don’t remember. =D

It was about a character, though not the ones in the current WIP. He threw me a curve ball last night when someone he didn’t like apologized to him, and now they’re working together.
