I’ve read a lot of books (as usual!). My best reads for July 2014 were:

I’m currently reading Murder at the Mikado by Julianna Deering (perfect for those who love 1930’s English mysteries), and next on the to-read pile is Captured Love by Jody Hedlund.

What book(s) did you finish reading (or listening to) since the last update?
“A Movable Feast,” by Ernest Hemingway. If anyone wants to see what it would have been like firsthand in Paris in the 1920’s (or in the movie “Midnight in Paris”), this is the book for you.
What are you currently reading and/or listening to?
I am now re-reading “Zlata’s Diary,” by Zlata Filipović. She kept a diary in the midst of the strife in Bosnia in the early 90’s. They called her the “Anne Frank of Sarajevo.” Really profound.
What’s the next book on your To Be Read stack/list?
I hope to start on Kristy Cambron’s “The Butterfly and the Violin” in the next day or two. I’m excited about this one; I’ve been waiting for it for months and then won it in a contest!
