Fun Friday–TGIF!

My favorite is “Only Robinson Crusoe had everything done by Friday.” Brings a smile, but only a dream never realized for me. Being a wife and mother, nothing is ever finiished. But – the weed days have their advantage. My time, who’s watching?

Love love that last quote.
I actually have something of a reversed life– in that Monday (Don’t hate me!) is the day I get to breathe. Our weekends are so full (homestead/house work Saturdays, Church/social stuff Sundays) that for a while now I’ve made Monday a Full-Stop day.
We don’t go anywhere (okay, we do homeschool), schedule anything, and generally do as little as possible to get by.
But I’ve decided that’s what what a weekend is for, and if I have to shift it a little within the week, I’m content as long as it eventually happens. {grin}

I’m one of those bizarre birds that actually prefers a weekday. I like what I do for work. If I could handle it physically I would work every day. Or be tempted to. I know better. God gave us Sabbath for practical as well as spiritual reasons.
That last quote is a hoot though!
