I’ve been teaching adult women’s Bible study for about 30 years, so I’m pretty much caught up on that, although I continue to learn. Love the Beth Moore studies.
I wish I were more ambitious about being at a healthy weight. The doctor keeps telling me to loose weight. He doesn’t understand that I am now craving chili cheese fries and apple turnover from the Krystal. At least I drink unsweet tea.
Looks like when one gets old we can enjoy what we like and not have to even think about such things.
There is a woman I have known for years who dusts her lightbulbs (!!) and her house is immaculate, even after babysitting toddlers! I wish my home could be half as great as hers – so I would love to be more ambitious in the housecleaning area (OR just hire a house fairy/elf/whatever).
Honestly, I could be a lot more ambitious in many areas, not to my credit.
I need to try and talk to my colleagues about Jesus. I see them throwing their lives away and I stand by silent. I should at least try to tell them about Him. God will handle it from there.
I go back and forth about being more ambitious at work… I am too willing to sit back and just let my boss take the lead in every design, even when I have good ideas. He’s very forceful and sometimes I feel like it’s not worth the effort. Then I look at what some of my college classmates have achieved in their careers and wonder if I could have taken that track… and I just don’t know. I think I’m capable, but I just don’t have the drive. And I’m not sure if I want the drive or not. My career is something I enjoy, but it’s not my identity… and I think it might have to be if I were to really go far.
I could be more ambitious about pretty much everything in my life. But if I had to choose one, probably about getting a job. Its hard when they say that you have to have reliable transportation and I don’t have a car, but I could apply anyway, just to see.
More ambitious in letting others in … most of my friends are people I’ve known for a while, but I’ve been drifting away from a lot of my old high school friends, but I haven’t really connected with anyone at my current school …
As others have said, I wish I was more ambitious about my spiritual walk with Christ … I know it’s been lacking, but things like school and work seem to take “priority” over what is most important …
Good question! There are so many things I wish I had more time for right now. I’ve been so behind in everything except diaper changing and bottle feeding. If I had to choose just one thing….I’d say reading. I’m way behind on my reading list! I haven’t had any time to sit down and read anything more than the ingredients on baby food labels. lol
Hmm…probably exercise for me too, and finding someone to date/marry. Darn debt keeps getting in the way of getting out to meet people, it seems events these days are so expensive and I’m not a bar girl!

Okay, I was going to say writing, but Debra’s response kind of shamed me. I definitely need to be more ambitious about Bible study.

Uh… See the other Carol up there?
Just duplicate that for me.

And exercise.
I could use some more of that too…

I would be more ambitious in my music. I see people around me who are amazing and that makes me feel bad that I don’t practice more.

Ditto what Carol said, pretty much word for word.

I’d like to be more ambitious about keeping a schedule. I’m pretty much a pantser in most things I do.
