Look What the UPS Guy Brought Me!
Thursday, June 17, 2010
I knew that this one was on a quick turn-around and that they were trying to have it ready for ICRS at the end of the month, but I figured those would be ARCs, not the real thing. I just turned in the galley edits five weeks ago!
Look what my UPS guy delivered today!
Good thing I suffered through no air conditioning to put those extra shelves up on Sunday afternoon!

Those are some gorgeous covers, both for this and for The Art of Romance. They’re all nice, actually, but those are especially nice. Love the reverse headless woman (headless women on covers being a particular pet peeve of mine…) xoxo

After having the tops of the guys’ heads cut off on the first series, I’m glad we’re getting the eyes on the fronts of this series—I’m such an “eyes-girl” and feel like that’s the emotion center, how you can really tell what someone’s thinking.

Whoo-hoo! This is great! That’s a really fast turnaround, isn’t it? Congrats, Kaye. They’re beautiful!

Thanks, darling. It almost seems unfair to Charlotte and Ned that these came today.

I just got Ransome’s Crossing but I can’t wait to read Love Remains also. Is it for sale yet in stores/online?

I just preordered “Love Remains” from Amazon…and ordered Erynn Mangum’s second book from Maya Davis series and Kristen Billerbecks “Perfectly Dateless”. So excited for them all!

Oh, I love Erynn Mangum’s books! You will either start liking coffee by reading them, never want to see another cup by the time you end the book, or drink while you read! The books are so energetic and non-stop the whole way through. 🙂 Oh, it’s a good thing I already love While You Were Sleeping and Pride and Prejudice 1995! If you don’t like them….beware….

Congratulations! Two books so close together! I’m in the middle of Ransome’s Crossing at this time so I can get my review up. Daughter is coming home from church camp today and she’ll want to read it. I’d better get with it!
