Sunday, May 3, 2009

1. Excluding his upcoming role as Leonard “Bones” McCoy in Star Trek (which opens next week–YAY!), name two movie roles actor Karl Urban has portrayed that made two very different lists of types of characters (and make sure to name the lists as well—just to keep you from guessing!).

Baton Rouge, Louisiana (age 0-1). Anchorage/Ft. Richardson, Alaska (age 1-4). White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico (age 4). Las Cruces, New Mexico (age 4-18). [Baton Rouge again, age 18-21.] Chantilly, Virginia (age 21-25). Nashville, Tennessee (age 25-present). (Fun Friday—Eight Random Facts about Me)

3. Who (according to moi) is the best-looking man on the face of the planet?

4. What is my most valued possession?

5. What are the two adjectives I used to describe actor Colin Firth in the film role for which he’s best known?

6. Who are my top two favorite British actors?

7. Which is the only one of the AFI Top Ten Courtroom Drama movies have I seen?

8. What are my top three favorite musicals?

I so love your Fun Fridays. 🙂 They really are fun. 🙂 Anyway, so, I had to go look up Oded Fehr after you said he’s the most handsome man alive. I couldn’t remember where I’d first seen him. Of course, it was The Mummy. Anyway, he’s quite handsome for sure. I can’t wait to read the book where he “plays” the hero.

Also, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. So great to see it on your list of favorite musicals. 🙂

    Thanks for the fun!

I just introduced my husband to A Few Good Men the other night when we were both sick with the flu. (Sometimes all the mystery and romance of marriage boil down to having someone to shiver with!)

We’ve been watching our way through all the seasons of JAG on DVD (I watched it on TV for the first 5 seasons then got too busy with life to keep up with it. I’m enjoying seeing how it played out in the second half!). We are two episodes away from the end of season 8 and just realized that there isn’t even a release date set for season 9! So “A Few Good Men” helped fill the military-legal drama void for us temporarily. : )
