It’s #NaNo Prep Time! What Will You Be Writing? | #nanowrimo #nano2019
Is it time yet? Is it time yet? Now?
Yes—it’s time to start thinking about and prepping for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo, or NaNo), which starts November 1.
I went to an informational meeting for my local group (we’re too small to have an online group, we’re stuck in a greater regional group for now) last night and set my goal—to write a 50k novella that’s both a sequel to the Ransome Trilogy and a kickoff of my new Ransome’s Legacy series. Right now, it’s tentatively entitled The Pirate’s Ransome.
Are you participating in NaNo this year? Do you have your story idea yet?
Yes, I am participating this year. I’m going to work on a piece that I attempted a few years ago. It’s a paranormal story with romance elements.

Hi Kaye! November is such a rotten month for me when it comes to writing. Too many church and family activities. I always start a project but I usually don’t get much more than a good start.
I’ve already set my goals for 2020. How about you? 😉

I want to really bad because I think I know how I can start it, but I am pretty scared! I’ve done NaNo before so I’m not sure why I am nervous, does this happen to you or anybody else? 🙂

I’m doing it this year but don’t have a story idea yet. I know the main character, but I don’t know anything else! Yikes! I hope to have a story idea and a skeletal plot by November 1. 🙂

I have a story idea and I’m participating for the first time ever after lurking on the site for years. It’s a little scary but also exciting.
