Since the beginning of the year (the beginning of my 2017 challenge, I’ve finished (and according to Goodreads, I’m 2-3 books behind schedule for meeting my goal of 65 books this year—I’d better start reading faster!):
The Writings of Thomas Paine 1 1774-79 by Thomas Paine (Classic nonfiction | 3 stars)
Close to You by Kara Isaac (Inspy contemporary romance | 2 stars/DNF)
For the Love of Pete by Elizabeth Hoyt writing as Julia Harper (Romantic comedy/suspense | 3.5 stars)
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story by Alexander Freed (Star Wars novel | 4.5 stars)
What are you currently reading and/or listening to?
Brightwood by Tania Unsworth (Middle-grade paranormal | Started 2/5/17)
What’s the next book on your To Be Read stack/list?
Here’s my proposed 2017 reading list—at least as far as my A-Z author-name challenge goes:

In January I read all historicals. I was trying to get caught up, so read mostly 2015 and 2016 books that I had not read yet.
Here’s what I read in January. January Books
I just finished The Red Door Inn by Liz Johnson and am in the middle of writing that review right now. Currently, I’m reading Where Two Hearts Meet by Liz Johnson and am enjoying it very much. Her job and the whole inn/bed and breakfast setting is one of my favorite subjects to read.
Next on my list to read is Just a Kiss by Denise Hunter, Keep Holding On by Melissa Tagg, and A Portrait of Emily Price by Katherine Reay.

Loved The Red Door Inn (and not just because Liz is a dear friend of mine) and I have the sequel on my to-read list for 2017—I can’t wait for this one because I helped her brainstorm a few parts of it, so I’m really excited to see how it all turned out!
The Innkeeper of Ivy Hill and An Elegant Facade are also TBRs for me.
And, if nothing else, that’s a great collection of gorgeous book covers!
