Fun Friday—Eureka!!!

Friday, January 27, 2012

At forty years old, I think I’ve finally figured out why I’m not only still single, but why I’ve never been out on a date!

(“One Hundred Easy Ways” from Wonderful Town, music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green)

And now you know the secret to my (singleness) success! 😉

She’s right on target. To get a man (husband), first, you have to be where men are. If you are a beauty queen they naturally will look you up, but for the rest of us, If you aren’t in their view, you haven’t a chance. And, what kind of a husband are you looking for? Dress the part, if you know what I mean. Not trashy, but if are you looking for a professional man he probably wouldn’t be interested in jeans and tee shirts. I found that most men are dumb when it comes to the wiles of females. Except the smooth talkers, but who wants one of those? Women are smarter than they are when it comes to relationships. Women are supposed to be smart enough to not let them know that and smart enough to build up their self-esteem. Surely there is something special about each man that a woman can find and complement him on. An author has a plan for a book, have a plan for husband search.
I was no beauty queen, just an ordinary girl. Didn’t date until after high school, I was so shy. Even so, I had ffive marriage proposals before Mr. Right came along. So, I’m not just talking turkey.
