Fun Friday, “Look What Came in the Mail Today” Edition

Friday, October 21, 2011

(Okay, via UPS not “in the mail,” but still . . . you know what I mean!)

Which reminds me to say . . .

My TFP bookmarks came day before yesterday. If you would be willing to distribute them for me to get the buzz going about Flannery and Jamie’s story, send me an e-mail (see the Contact page) with your mailing address and I’ll get some out to you!

Nice! I’ll help with the bookmarks –there’s a library near us that let me put bookmarks next to their free pamphlets and stuff in the past. =)

Do you still get excited when your shipment of a new book arrives? I know I do…enjoy the excitement.

    Congratulations! The cover is beautiful!

And I wanted to share that my second book was picked up by LIH this week! Capturing the Enemy’s Heart will be a July, 2012 release.

I just got an e-mail from Amazon telling me that Kaye Dacus’s new book, Turnabout’s Fair Play, will be releasing Nov 1, with a big picture of the cover :o)

Me too. I added it to my wish list, but I hate waiting. Patience is not one of my virtues. Cover looks great, Kaye.

    Kaye,
    I can place twenty.
I will meet with the Centennial Book Club this Friday (usually 9 or 10 there). And I’ll take ten with me when I go to Crossville to speak at the Art Center Public Library on Nov. 1st
I’ll give one to the Donelson Branch Library Manager, and I have three special buddies who love to read.
    Promise I won’t waste a one.
Best of luck. I know you are excited. I am too.
    Charmaine

The cover is lovely. Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover!

This cover is intriguing! Love it! And the bookmarks….I wish I could distribute some for you. I haven’t gotten out of the house except to get my son back and forth to school and a couple of family trips. I miss the library; used to take weekly trips but I have a fussy teething baby. Perhaps I’ll find some time to write up something on my blog about it to get the word out.
