I was dreading Christmas 2010. It was the first Christmas my daughters and I had shared with my husband Brian’s family since his death from cancer the previous year. Brian always kept all of us laughing, and I feared Christmas would be somber without him. I needn’t have worried though. As I opened my gift, a bird feeder, I noticed the smell of rotting garbage. It turned out that two weeks earlier when my brother-in-law wrapped the gift he accidentally included a plain black box containing Brian’s sister’s now moldy leftovers from Olive Garden. All of us, from my husbands’ eighty something parents to my twenty something daughters, laughed so hard we cried! It was like a hug from God reminding us that although we are temporarily separated from Brian, we are still a family that loves to laugh. I’m sure that in heaven Brian was laughing harder than any of us!
I cant remember but I know it was only a week or so ago. One of the shows on tv something funny was said and who ever said it realised what they said wasn’t right to go with the image and it just got funnier and funnier the more they tried to dig out of the the hole they dug. It was so funny I was crying from laughing so much. It wasn’t anything mean but it was just so funny but do you think I cant think of what it was now!
Last night before I went to bed. My sides hurt and I couldn’t see for the tears. I’d posted a ccomment on my fb about a cockroach in my house and it seemed to bring all my friends out of the woodwork. Oh my, I never laughed so hard. But I think what made me laugh even harder was the fact that my husband was on his computer in the living room making comments too, just a few feet away from me. Icould hear him chuckling to himself. I am STILL grinning about it all.
I’ve heard about that but this is the first time I’ve seen it. My sister and her best friend dressed up as Toddlers in Tiaras for Halloween in 2009. They did the bad spray tans and fake eyelashes. The whole bit. It was so funny! Then they made Lauren’s boyfriend be their chauffeur.

It’s a little long, but well worth the watch. First time I saw this, I laughed so hard I’m pretty sure I pulled a muscle in my side.

Okay, this one’s even longer (it was a TV special) but even funnier. It’s one of my favorite comedy routines ever, from Bill Engvall. (But you need a Netflix subscription to be able to watch it.)
