Kaye Talks about Ransome’s Crossing
Monday, December 14, 2009
The sales rep from Harvest House asked me if I would record a short video talking about Ransome’s Crossing which he can take out when he goes on sales calls to booksellers. So here’s one (of the two—one was generic, one was specific to a certain bookseller) of the videos I spent a couple of hours working on yesterday.

Great job on the video, girl! If I had to do something like that I’d be umm-ing and ah-ing and stuttering like crazy, I’m sure! 😉

It took me a couple of hours to record two videos of less than three minutes each. There was a lot of Umm-ing and ahh-ing and “dangit” moments throughout those two minutes. And costume changes. And lipstick additions (after this video).

So great to hear your voice. 🙂 I linked to this from my current blog post about the upcoming releases I’m looking forward to in 2010.

LOL–it’s easy for me to talk about my books. Reading from them in front of people, however, is something I hate doing—makes me SO nervous.

Thank you so much, Jess. Now I’m not so self-conscious about how short my stylist cut my hair this time. (I love it, but I thought it made me look “bald” on the video!)

Great video! It’s nice connecting a face with a voice…one of the interesting aspects of “getting to know” someone via Internet. You’ve made me want to read the book even more, if that’s possible! 😉
