Radio Interviews!

Monday, November 16, 2009

Over the past few months, I’ve had the chance to do several interviews with Victor Gentile of the Kingdom Highlights internet radio program. They’re now available online!

Victor interviews me about Stand-In Groom. (April 2009)

It’s missing the last few minutes—something happened during the session and when he cut to commercial, apparently the equipment never started recording again. 😦

Victor interviews me about Menu for Romance. (October 2009)

Victor interviews me about Ransome’s Honor. (October 2009)

Very nice interviews. I loved the story of your ancestor Major General! That was great! Do you wish more radio/web stations would do interviews with you of your books? Do you think it helps spark sales? You should ask some of these bloggers to put these interview links on their blogs as a way of promoting your books. Kind of like the blog tours that authors are doing now.

I’d love to do more radio interviews—don’t know about how they affect book sales, but I love talking about my books and about writing!

Thanks, Becky! Between years of voice lessons (singing), drama classes in junior high, and spending a year as a Relay Operator for the Deaf, it’s fun to be able to try to get across my personality and joy for what I do with just my voice.

I loved the Ransome’s Honor interview, Kaye. I am hungry for more in the Ransome trilogy!

By the way, it was great putting a voice with the face. You are very expressive and have a great voice. Perhaps an audio book some day?
