Menu for Romance is FINISHED!

I was planning on getting to the last chapter this afternoon, but woke up early this morning with a backache—and what needed to happen in the final chapter running through my head. So I decided I might as well come in and get as much written as I could before church. And guess what! The words flowed (it helped that I’d written out a detailed synopsis of this scene many months ago).
As you can see by the progress meter, I’m a little over on word count, but that’ll be easily taken care of in the next two weeks as I edit and make revisions.
YAY!

Yay!!! Isn’t it a great feeling when you finish a ms! I think it’s probably my favorite part of writing when I get that last word down on paper and go it’s done! Of course, then come the revisions!!! 😀

Congrats, Kaye! That’s wonderful news.
Wondering if you feel that bit of letdown too…you know, like when the last night of the musical has come and gone. Finishing a manuscript is bittersweet for me, but I’ve only ever done it for “myself” and not on contract. Perhaps it feels different when it’s…you know…for “real”. 🙂
