tags: Menu for Romance
I just got home from spending four and a half hours at the library, during which time I got the two most emotionally draining chapters written (well, finished one and wrote the other). I’m now within about 5,000 to 6,000 words of being finished with Menu for Romance. And if I didn’t have my MTCW meeting tomorrow morning, I’d stay up all night to get it done. Guess that means I’ll have to buckle down and work on it this evening instead of waiting until after 10 to get back to it!
Here’s the even better news. Since October 1, I’ve written 66,177 words! Yes, that’s right, I’m averaging 13,200 words per week! That bodes well for A Case for Love.

Three cheers for you!!! Yaaaay! Almost there!
Forgot to mention…after your review on BBC’s Bleak House last month, I decided to rent it, since it was one of my favorite Dickens books.
It was sooo good! My brothers and I watched an episode a night for…how many episodes are there? I forget. Anyway, it was just as I pictured it in my mind. Wonderful!!!
(Although my brother suggested that they should have called it “Finding Nemo”. After all, they spend the whole time trying to find who “Nemo” was. 😉 )

I’m glad you enjoyed it. I absolutely adore Denis Lawson in that role, especially his final scene when he gives her up to marry the man she really loves.
And I’m now within 3,000 words of finishing. One more chapter and it’s done (until I start revisions on Monday).
