Well, LSU fans all over the world are drowning their sorrows right about now (I have a huge bowl of mint-chocolate-chip ice cream sitting beside me as I type this). But I have to say, I still love my boys and though I was disappointed in the final outcome of the game, they’re still #1 in my heart.

    I understand. I’m still reeling from Oklahoma’s loss to Colorado a couple of weeks ago. But hey, with this crazy football season, who knows. I still think LSU is probably the best team in the country. (Breaks my Sooner heart to say that!)

    I was there for every home game the year we had a 2–9 record, so there’s no way I’d abandon them when they’re still #5 in the country!
