I dont live in a city I live in a small country town of about 5,000 people. I live in Naracoorte. I live here cos well lets see when I first lived just over the border (we are like 10 mins from the border) then we moved to a farm out of town then into town. I guess I never left. I grew up here and now am tired while mum is still alive. But I am use to it here. it may be small but its easy to get around as I do not drive. you can save money when there isn’t much to do! but I am a bit of a loner and am happy to be home and read. The downside will be looking for work as there isn’t as much as a bigger place but Trusting God has a job for me to go to by the end of Oct because as of the end of the week I am not longer a student and will have even less money to live on.

I live in Fort Worth, and that’s because my husband got a job there. 🙂

How’s that for short and sweet?

I live in New York City (Manhattan specifically)…I always wanted to live in the city growing up and when a job opportunity arose after graduation I moved up here. Can’t believe I’m going on my 3rd year here- it’s definitely a lot different from the South but a lot of fun to be in the center of things!

Arkansas because my husband has a job here. We were happy to move here in January since we are from Oklahoma, but spent the last ten years in NY with his job. A five and a half hour drive to family is a lot better than a 26 hour one for sure! :o) We do believe it was God’s timing to move us back here since we have had some family issues (good and bad) to deal with this year that would have been incredibly difficult to handle from so far away.

I live in Matthews, NC, which is just outside of Charlotte. I live here basically because my husband needed an adventure. Having lived within about a 10 mile radius his entire life, he wanted to live somewhere different, so we packed up and moved down here with no real other impetus 5 years ago. Now we miss the northeast and want to move back, but are torn because my entire family now lives down here (and his still lives up there). We’d need to sell our house to move though, and we’re in the middle of s-l-o-o-o-w-l-y remodeling it, not to mention that of course the real estate market stinks right now, so we don’t have to actually decide what to do at the moment.

I live in Dallas Texas. I moved here to attend Christ For the Nations Institute. After graduating, I went back to my family’s farm in KY, but I continued to feel drawn to Dallas. I finally moved back and started working full-time, and that’s when I met and married David. We’ve moved back and forth from Dallas to KY a few times (long story) but we always end up back here in Dallas. I guess its our home 🙂

I live in the teensy town of Marion, KY, county seat of Crittenden County, and home to about 3,000 people. We moved here 20 years ago because my husband got a teaching job here (when teaching jobs for English teachers were NOT plentiful), and we’ve built our life here. We love our church, love our schools, our friends, etc., but how I would like to live an hour from a city larger than Paducah, KY! 🙂

I live in a small town a few miles north of Alexandria, LA. There’s not even 1,000 people in the city limits. The metro area of Alexandria, which covers nearly two parishes (and calling it a metro area is an EXTREME stretch of the word) comes in at about 150,000.

We moved here nearly 15 years ago from a little place called Ferriday, across the river from Natchez, MS, when Papa relocated his medical practice to Alexandria. I lived in Laurel, MS for eight months and on Long Island for seven weeks, then ended up back here. It’s home and I don’t want to live anywhere else. Though there are lots of places I want to visit.

I live in Cincinnati, Ohio because my dad’s job got moved here about 11 years ago and I don’t have a job, so I don’t have the money to be able to move out somewhere else. I’d love to move back to California, where I was born and raised for the first 16 years of my life. I’d live here in the winter (because I have come to Looooove the snow) but stay there in the summer. No humidity and less threat of tornadoes.

I live in a small town, Lindsborg, Kansas, because I wanted to come home and be close to my family after several years of living farther away in various places. Small town living suits me very well.
