Effort. Writing isn’t easy. . . .There are a lot of people who want to write, but there are a lot more who want to have written. They don’t want to put the time in to sit at the computer for hours and hours composing the story, then twice or three times as many hours editing and revising and critiquing. This is when everyone who wants to “be a writer” learns whether it’s truly their life’s work, a job, or just a hobby.
