Love! I grew up in Santa Fe, have family still there and in Albuquerque, went to NMSU in Las Cruces my freshman year (both my parents went there too!), and spent summers in Ruidoso and Clovis. Even though I’ve lived in Texas the past 27 years, the Land of Enchantment is in my blood!! ❤

New Mexico is definitely on my bucket list. I have a Choctaw Indian friend who lives in Hobbs. He is always telling me what I’m missing by not visiting. Everything from ice caves to motorcycling through the desert. Sounds like an adventure!

I may be a little biased, but considering I’ve lived in several other areas of the country—and visited many more—New Mexico was the absolute best place to grow up. I’m hoping to go back some time in the next 18 months or so!

And I forgot to mention . . . I miss the food SO much! We have a couple of restaurants here in Nashville now that import their chiles from Hatch and make a *good* green sauce (not tomatillo sauce, or verde enchilada sauce, but an actual New Mexico Green Sauce), and it’s better than nothing, but even though I moved away more than twenty years ago, I still crave the real thing!
