Just finished Waiting for Spring by Amanda Cabot for a review. My next book is also for a review – Key Witness by Christy Barritt. Two very different styles but I like them both. Amanda Cabot writes a sweet historical romance with a hint of suspense. Christy Barritt writes an on-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense with a hint of romance.

I am currently reading The Passing Bells by Phillip Rock. This book was written in the 1970’s, but it and it’s two sequels have been reprinted in 2012 and 2013. If you are a Downton Abbey fan and like more of a historical overview of the era, as well as, the viewpoints of the upper-class, servants and middle-working-class than this is the book for you. I’m not very far into it, but it contains three parts. First part is mostly on the estate and in London. Later in the book there will be WWI actual war scenes I believe. Second book in this trilogy is in the roaring twenties. Third book is in the thirties right before WWII. Don’t know if I’ll read the two following books or not. I’ll see how I like the first one.
I’m also reading The Air We Breathe by Christa Parrish and getting ready to start Lovelier Than Daylight by Rosslyn Elliott.
