Just finished Waiting for Spring by Amanda Cabot for a review. My next book is also for a review – Key Witness by Christy Barritt. Two very different styles but I like them both. Amanda Cabot writes a sweet historical romance with a hint of suspense. Christy Barritt writes an on-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense with a hint of romance.

I have just finished listening to Vannetta Chapman’s Shipshewana Quilt Mystery Series. Julie Klassen’s Lady of Milkweed Manner and The Silent Governess. Truly enjoyed each of those books. (5 in total).
Next on my list of reading (how I wish I will be able to read, something fun) is Max Lucado’s Grace.

I recommend Stealing Home by Allison Pittman. I laughed out loud, cried, and fell in love. Great read!

I went on a Perry Mason kick, so read several that I hadn’t read yet. These are all by Erle Stanley Gardner.

The Case of the Runaway Corpse
The Case of the Ice-cold Hands
The Case of the Demure Defendant
The Case of the Terrified Typist
The Case of the Nervous Accomplice
The Case of the Careless Kitten
The Case of the Blonde Bonanza (re-read)
The Case of the Sleepwalker’s Niece

Beyond This Moment by Tamera Alexander
Within My Heart by Tamera Alexander
A Bride Opens Shop In Eldorado California by Keli Gwyn
    Surrender Bay by Denise Hunter
Surrender the Heart by MaryLu Tyndall
Smitten by Coleen Coble, Denise Hunter, Diann Hunt, Kristin Billerbeck
The Stars Shine Bright by Sibella Giorello

I am currently reading The Passing Bells by Phillip Rock. This book was written in the 1970’s, but it and it’s two sequels have been reprinted in 2012 and 2013. If you are a Downton Abbey fan and like more of a historical overview of the era, as well as, the viewpoints of the upper-class, servants and middle-working-class than this is the book for you. I’m not very far into it, but it contains three parts. First part is mostly on the estate and in London. Later in the book there will be WWI actual war scenes I believe. Second book in this trilogy is in the roaring twenties. Third book is in the thirties right before WWII. Don’t know if I’ll read the two following books or not. I’ll see how I like the first one.

I’m also reading The Air We Breathe by Christa Parrish and getting ready to start Lovelier Than Daylight by Rosslyn Elliott.

I’m in the middle of “Love Finds You in Pendleton, Oregon” by Melody Carlson. In the car, I’m listening to “The Cereal Murders” by Diane Mott Davidson. I’m on a cozy mystery kick with my listening:).
