If you could choose one (and only ONE) place where cell phones would be banned, where would you choose?

I agree Sarah. Even with it against the law to drive and use a cell phone so many still do.

Cellphone use while moving, yes. For passengers or when not moving, no.

Bathrooms. I have heard WAY too many conversations that no one should be having in public restrooms, EVER.

A cold glass of raw milk with Starbucks Via instant coffee and a teaspoon of maple syrup stirred into it. Yum. That’s been my morning coffee for a while now.

I would be the same as Patricia. I dont drink tea or coffee, haven’t had a coke since july 26 1997 (I remember the day well it was the day after my football team was annihilated by another team and I went to the shop to buy one before trying to give it up. well got to the shop was stirred about the loss and left quite quickly without the coke and haven’t had one since. I was addicted).

Is social media overrated? How much do you really use it?

    Like

    • Wednesday, March 21, 2012 1:01 am

I don’t think Facebook is overrated, but everything else, yeah.
I use it a lot, but it’s misleading in making me think I kept in touch with someone just because I “liked” their status.

    • Wednesday, March 21, 2012 2:16 pm

No. A lot. “Liking” someone’s status does notify them of your perusal, depending on their notification settings. Let’s someone know I “passed by”. I don’t think social media is overrated, but I think people should be less manic about it and whether they use it regularly.

Probably and too much! It can certainly be a huge time waster. Except for Pinterest but then that’s not social media, right? 😉

      Now: bottled or filtered.
When I was growing up it was tap water all the way, but I never liked the taste of the water from the cold side. So I’d fill a jug with warm water and chill it in the fridge.

… or one of the most trusting? Which, I suppose isn’t the smartest thing to do, so she may be the dumbest … BUT she does seem to be getting a lot of screen time this year, between two feature films (“Mirror, Mirror” and “Snow White & the Huntsman”) and as one of the featured characters in “Once Upon a Time” –I wonder if that was all by chance? 🙂

Her powers of mental acuity have never impressed me, but between the original Disney movie and some of the dumb things they’ve had Snow/Mary Margaret do on Once Upon a Time, I’m becoming more and more convinced that she wasn’t overly endowed with brains.

What’s the longest time span you’ve lived in one place (one city or one home)? (For example, I’ve lived in Nashville for sixteen years—two years longer than I’ve lived anywhere else. I’ve lived in my current house about eight years, or a year longer than any other house I’ve ever lived in.)

I lived in the same house for 5 years from age 2-7, my family lived in another house for 5 years starting when I was in 10th grade (I was away at college for most of two of those, but it was still my ‘home’) and I’ll have been in my current house for 5 years at the end of May. Everywhere else has been less than that. All of them were in different cites/ towns too, though from 9th grade until my husband and I moved south 5 1/2 years ago -about 12 years – I lived in the same area (same school district, shopped at same stores, etc.)
