THE HEART THAT WAITS Writing Goal & Results Day 1

I’m going to try something a little different with this last book of the GE series to try to keep myself accountable to meeting a daily word-count goal. I have gone through and pre-scheduled a daily post with that day’s cumulative word-count goal based on writing 1,000 words per day (or an average of 7,000 words per week). Each post is scheduled to publish at 10 p.m., which means I’ll have to remember to go in and update my actual word-count before then. My plan is to have the first draft of the manuscript finished by May 1, which will give me one month for revisions/edits before it’s due to be turned in to my editor on June 1.

So here is my daily writing report for The Heart that Waits, Book 3 of The Great Exhibition series. (June 2014 release)
