Wait . . . This is a REAL Movie???
Yep. It releases March 1, 2013.
Synopsis (from Coventry Telegraph – The Geek Files by David Bentley)
An ancient war is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants.
Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack (Nicholas Hoult), into the battle of his life to stop them.
Fighting for a kingdom and its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend… and gets the chance to become a legend himself.

(And that’s not a comment on the fact it’s in a foreign language—I find it incomprehensible that the song itself is so popular. But, then I’m a total nerd when it comes to music anyway.) So, here’s the (seemingly) mandatory Star Trek parody of “Gangnam Style”:
Most Popular Eye-Candy of the Week
In the last two weeks, with 25 Likes and 17 comments, the Lord of the Rings Eye-Candy of the Day of Karl Urban (Éomer in The Two Towers and Return of the King) was the most popular over on my Facebook Page, beating out Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn, with 15/8), Sean Bean (Boromir, with 24/6), David Wenham (Faramir, with 17/10), Orlando Bloom (Legolas, with 15/11), and Craig Parker (Haldir, with, so far today, 9/5).
You can “vote” by Liking (and by rallying others to Like) your favorite Eye-Candy posts over there every day. (And Middle Earth appreciation continues through next week, so be sure to stop by!)
