There are too many to count!! Too many categories! Right now, since I’ve started clandestinely listening to Christmas music on Accuradio, I’d say the song that makes me smile is the Carpenter’s version of “The Christmas Waltz.” But the song that I sing to myself, and that I sang to my babies every day, is “There’s Something About That Name.”

    Such a hard one!

I LOVE the Lettermen’s version of The Christmas Waltz. One of my fave Christmas songs.

HA! I just scrolled through the 400+ songs on my iPod to see what I would chose. I had “Nights in White Satin” by the Moody Blues, “Time of the Season” by the Zombies, “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers, and “Spirit in the Sky” by Norman Greenbaum. Then I said, no, how about “Fragile” by Sting? or “Who’ll Stop the Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival? or “Wind of Change” by Scorpions? “Whiskey in the Jar” by Thin Lizzy? “Spinning Wheel” by Blood, Sweat, and Tears? “Secrets” by OneRepublic? Yeah, all those are good. But one song stuck out in my mind, a song that I don’t have on my iPod (which I shall rectify later this afternoon): “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” by Elvis Presley. :o )

Tough question Kaye! If I had to pick one off the top of my head, ” Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles.

A Mighty Fortress would be the song I would choose. God is never-changing and forever; the Great Prince out to save us from the evil one.

Oh boy, Daphne, I so agree! But I’ll add, “Time to say Goodbye” by Sara Brightman and Andrea Bocelli

I think there isn’t one, because there are so many great songs and too many genres. =)
