Surgery Day!
Well, today is usually Open Mic Wednesday, but as I’ll be gone most of the day—in surgery by 2:30 and then the rest of the day in the recovery unit (prayerfully not overnight, though)—we’ll forgo the usual. I’ll be sure to take my cell phone with me (as if I’d go ANYWHERE without it anymore 
), so I’ll be able to send updates via Twitter—which will eventually show up over on the right-hand side of this page. Scroll down to where it says “Follow Me on Twitter” below the link to my videos on YouTube; they don’t update immediately, but usually pretty quickly. (I only receive text messages from Twitter when someone sends me a DM, though, not an @reply, and I don’t get any text messages on my phone from Facebook, so if I don’t respond to you there, that’s why.)
I don’t know that I’ll feel like reading after surgery (if I do, I should grab my laptop and write instead), but here’s what’s on the bedside table, just in case:

I hope everything goes well with your surgery! By all means read Courting Morrow Little! It is wonderful. Laura writes fantastic books that dump you right into the 18th century. You look up from your book and realize you’re living here in the 21st century!

I’ve read Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball and loved it… Oh and loved Courting Morrow Little too! Both great reads. I hope which ever one is relaxing and entertaining. Prayers are with you that all is well.
