I’m very excited—I get to have lunch with Regina today! And with all of the brainstorming help from yesterday (although don’t stop, if you still have ideas/questions!), I’m ready for those few hours I’ll have in the car to be able to get some writing done!
Remember Zane Grey’s “Riders of the Purple Sage?” One of his most romantic westerns, in my opinion. But more recently, Ann Gabhart has written books about the Shaker Village in Pleasant Hill, KY. I have one of her books but haven’t had a chance to read it yet. Interesting concept, though, considering they did not believe in marriage and lived separately – kind of the opposite of the Mormons. Actually, they eventually died out.
Kaye,
I just wanted to tell you that there is a boatload of info on my current post from Sylvia regarding costuming sites, the BBC, etc. I thought you might like her links though you might already know about them:) Anyway, enjoy your lunch together! Wish I was closer and could do that. But hey, Indy is right around the corner…
Me again. Just wanted to tell you Carla Gade has a great post about a certain book of yours today over at her Writing to Distraction blog:) I think you’d like it!

Can’t wait, Kaye!
Okay, and here’s a question . . .
Is “Mormon” the new “Amish” in Christian fiction?
I’ve been wondering that myself…
