Hot Diggity Dog!
2008 July 24

After weeks (okay, months) of checking Amazon occasionally to see if, perhaps, I might find something there with my name attached to it (and yes, my name comes up in the acknowledgments of J.M. Hochstetler’s One Holy Night—thanks, Joan!), tonight, I finally found what I was looking for . . .
STAND-IN GROOM IS AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER ON AMAZON.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo-Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am SOOO happy for you!
Yay!!!
How exciting!!!! Mine’s pre-ordered.
Yeah!!!! Congrats! I am so excited for you!!!!
Hooray!
I guess I assumed you’d be W/A Katherine (or Katherine Nell). Totally makes more sense for you to use Kaye (from my marketing perspective).
I’d always thought I’d publish as Katherine Nell . . . but then I did all of my name building/branding as “Kaye”–it’s what I’ve always gone by on my blog and in all of my writing groups, so it’s the name folks recognize—plus a shorter name means it’ll be in bigger font-size on the book cover.
Wooooo-hoooooo!!!!! We’re Snoopy-dancing for you in Bama!!! How incredibly exciting.
Shorter name, bigger font. Darn, why didn’t I think of that?
Congratulations!
That’s really exciting, Kaye. Congrats!
Congratulations and God Bless you.
Congratulations! What a rush that must be to see your name on a book cover.
Hey Kaye,
Email me privately and I can give you the store contact for Borders to do a book signing in January. I told them about you and they said to have you contact them. My book club meets the second week in January but I already have Sigmund Brouwer scheduled to come then.
Super exciting!!!
Congrats! rose who is off to pre-order!
May I say I’m envious! Congrats. That’s got to be the most awesome-est feeling! I’m sending the link to all my friends and posting it on message boards. I shall spread the word!
Love your reasoning for the shorter name, Kaye! You go girl!
That’s awesome news! CONGRATULATIONS!
Congrats Kaye!
Totally awesome!!! May it only be the first of good things to come:)
Huge congrats!!!! It’s starting to feel real, isn’t it? Before you know it, you’ll be holding that book in your hot little hands. lol! And it never gets old no matter how many books you publish.
Oodles of congrats, Kaye! How exciting!!!!!!
That is amazing. I am going to go search it right now. You didn’t tell what you did when you found it. Was it just a quick scream? Or did it involve something more elaborate, such as a hairbrush and some Motown?
Congratulations! Now you’ll need some five-star reviews
Congratulations Kaye!
Funny, I realize that I pretty much cemented the use of my real name since that’s how I’m known in the blogosphere. I was considering a penname at one point but no one would know who I was.
Congrats! I cannot even imagine how proud you are
