Yes, Jessica is also near the top of my list of favorite Sunfires . . . though on re-readings of it, I kind of skipped parts in the middle—the whole failed romance with the Indian, because even as a teenager, I felt like that storyline felt forced.

I really need to go back and re-read all of them and see if I could ever try my hand at YA romances, since the YA market is blowing wide-open . . . and because I want good stuff for my niece to read, and I don’t like much of what’s out on the market these days!

That’s the only one I remember liking, though Little House in the Big Woods was okay. FB was the only one I read more than once.

Maybe those were the only ones I read all through?

My sis always wanted to watch the T.V. show when I wanted to watch “Nature” (they were always on at the same time) and I thought the books and show both were boring and weird.
