After getting some wonderful feedback on my early attempts at a one-sheet and a pitch-sheet, I’ve completely revamped them with a cleaner layout and for front-and-back printing. But I would love more feedback, so here they are:

LOVE these. I’m working on my one sheet and wondered where you found the lovely clip art? I can’t find anything that you don’t have to purchase. I may have to do that, but thought I’d ask first.

I downloaded the free sample version of MS Publisher, along with the free plug-in to convert to PDF.

Some of them are images I’ve found on the web, others are from a stock image site where I have a membership (jupiterimages.com).

Love them, love them, love them! Especially Happy Endings, Inc. Are you printing them yourself or sending them out?
Also, they are 2 totally different genres. What does Chip think of that? Is he pitching both of them? Is there one genre you’d like to get into more?

Well, considering that Happy Endings has been rejected by pretty much every major CBA publisher already, and that I currently have a publisher interested in another piece that isn’t a romance at all . . . right now we’re just focusing on getting something published. But romance, whether historical or contemporary, is my first love.

Sally, I’m going to be printing them myself—one of the advantages of my parents’ living in Dallas and my going down next Saturday is that I’ll be able to print them on their LASER color printer!

Kaye, they look fabulous! Quick question though — on the Happy Endings sheet, on page 2, under Promotion/Marketing — the last bullet point:
“series. will eventually be able to be packaged as a set.”
The “W” in “will” needs to be capitalized, methinks…

I think I like the Ransome version with the pictures better than the one with the sketches as well.

The Ransome version with the actual pictures is just about perfect IMO.
