Fun Friday–What I’m Doing Tonight

Friday, August 3, 2007

fun-friday.jpg

I haven’t felt well for most of the week (spent most of the day Thursday trying to survive excruciating back pain—almost on par with what I lived with for a year before my back surgery in 2003). So I couldn’t really think of anything fun to expound upon today. Instead, I’ll share a visual aid of what I plan to do as soon as I get off work tonight.

It’s the movie I’ve been most looking forward to all summer. Yes, even more than the fifth Harry Potter movie.

My DH wants to see this one too! Dunno when we’ll go though. Not tonight I don’t think…though that would be cool, a date I didn’t know about. :)

Gosh I’m sure sorry to hear about your back! I have struggled with back issues periodically as well…mostly due from my scholiosis. Anyway, enjoy the movie! (Like there’s any question…LOL!) I’m going to see Hairspray tonight (2nd time…LOVE IT!!). And then next weekend is Stardust…and Becoming Jane had BETTER BE HERE!! :P

We might go tomorrow night. Looks like a great movie. Yip yip yippee! We never go to the actual theater, but this one will be best on the big screen. Hope your back is better soon!

I hope you feel better soon, back pain is no fun.

That looks like a cool movie, maybe this weekend we’ll fit it in.

This was a FABULOUS movie! They let us go home early Friday (2:00), so I was able to catch a late afternoon showing. I had a lot of expectations for this one, as I enjoyed the first two so much—and it more than delivered! The only thing this one didn’t have was a single assassin he was up against as in the first two—this time, it was the office headed by the character played by David Strathairn (one of my favorite underappreciated secondary-character actors).

They did leave it hanging at the end, so there’s the possibility that this isn’t the final Bourne movie.

I LOVE David Strathairn! He’s the best reason for watching Sneakers and The River Wild.
